Ombudspeople
Ombudspeople
Ombudspeople act as trusted intermediaries between individuals and various departmental constituencies or administrations. When approached, they will attempt to investigate, mediate, and resolve conflicts and inter-personnel issues that may arise in a course of job-related interactions among students, staff, and faculty in order to improve the working atmosphere in the department.
While ombudspeople will protect the individuals' privacy, they abide by the university policies such as mandatory reporting (harassment, crimes, etc.).
Our proud Ombudspeople are:
Professor of Statistics, Dorothy Foehr Huck and J. Lloyd Huck Chair in Statistics for the Life Sciences

If an individual prefers to talk to someone outside of the department, they may also choose to talk to any of the Eberly College of Science ombudspeople.
