Virtual Science Festival
Check out our new Virtual Science Festival! Find many of your favorite PSU and community organizations from our in-person events in a virtual format. DIY science activities, videos, and tours.
These community science nights bring together local residents of Bald Eagle, Bellefonte, and State College school districts with STEM businesses, organizations, and PSU scientists with interactive shows, demos, and tours.
Since 1999, Penn State Astronomy students, faculty, and friends have been inviting the public to Davey Lab for AstroFest, a four night festival of Astronomy held concurrently with the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.
Programs for Youth
This STEM Career Day Supporting Young Women is a full day of science enrichment, including student and faculty-led workshop sessions, speakers, conversations with academic advisers, and networking opportunities with professional scientists.
Summer Experience in the Eberly College of Science (SEECoS) is a collaborative effort between ECOS and the Penn State Upward Bound Math and Science (UBMS) Program. The mission is to provide first generation, economically challenged PA students with the opportunity
Think Outside the Beaker
Built by partnerships with local companies and organizations, TOTB is a five-part after-school program to expose middle school students to STEM career options and fields.
