Science-U Penn State Summer Science Camps

Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic in 2020, The Office of Science Outreach successfully held three summer camps online and expanded our school year programs into virtual formats as well.

Now, considering the ongoing pandemic, the uncertainty of the summer months, and the safety of our campers and staff, we have decided to hold all 2021 Science-U Summer Camps remotely. Some of the camp offerings may be slightly different than what we offered previously. Our camp schedule has been finalized, and we have contacted families from 2020 camps.  Public registration for Science-U 2021 opens on May 3, 2021 at 10 AM, when the link to our camp schedule will appear below. Thank you for your patience as we work to make Science-U fun and enjoyable for all involved!

2021 Camps

We hope you’re ready for another fantastic summer of unforgettable science experiences here at Penn State’s University Park campus! Each of our Science-U camps is designed to take campers through a one-week journey that investigates an area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in a fascinating and meaningful way. Guided by our passionate staff, Science-U campers are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and explore all the ways that science can captivate them and make a difference in their everyday lives. Our sincere hope is that every camper comes out of their Science-U experience inspired to stay curious and keep learning about the world around them!
