Eberly College of Science ombuds program was created to provide a safe and informal opportunity for members of our college to discuss problems and issues outside of formal channels. The Eberly ombuds work to facilitate communication among individuals and help connect people to resources for further assistance.
The Eberly ombuds assist faculty, staff, and graduate students in conflict resolution and solutions-oriented support. Although each department has at least two Eberly ombuds, individuals can choose to meet with any ombudsperson across the College.
Penn State and Centre County offer many confidential and non-confidential resources for faculty, staff and students to create a more supportive environment.
Code of Mutual Respect and Cooperation
The Eberly College of Science strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. The Code of Mutual Respect and Cooperation was developed to embody the values that our faculty, staff, and students possess and utilize every day.
