What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
I'm motivated to become a doctor because of the importance of adding another person of color to a field that needs them. I hope to inspire children to pursue their dreams and never set low possibilities for themselves. When I become a doctor, I will provide proper health care, information, and resources to communities that lack this privilege.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
Black History Month is a time for us as a community to come together and reflect on how far we have come and how far we have to go. We should recognize the leaders who showed courage and tenacity to give us better opportunities. Black History Month is also a time for us to appreciate our culture.
