What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
My passion for science comes from my desire to pursue a profession in medicine: to be able to apply everything I've learned to better people's lives, and to assist my community and underrepresented groups. Every obstacle I take on teaches me more about my true purpose, and I want to make a difference in the medical field.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
Black History Month is a time to honor our people who have struggled and fought for our freedom. It is a time to remember the great Black leaders and activists who are important historical figures in the community. It is all about accountability and learning about not only the struggle, but also the liberation of Black people.
