What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
My interest in medicine dates to elementary school and stories my mother told me about the humanity of physicians. In school, I was drawn to science and found it stimulating.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
An opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the many contributions that African Americans have made.
Anything else you would like to share?
Penn State has had a lasting impact on my life and career. I have lifelong friendships from my time there, and it is where I met my wife, who was also a science major.
